HgCalc is used with your imported XC-6000 MercSampler sample run data, then the trap analysis data is entered, and the application calculates the Hourly, Daily, Weekly, and Yearly total mercury mass in micro-grams, grams and pounds and total mercury emissions as specified in 40CFR Part 75.

HgCalc also verifies QA/QC specifications regarding section 2 breakthrough, calculates normalized HG mass also HG concentration, checks relative deviation, and section 3 spike recovery as shown in 40CFR Part 75 Appendix K table K-1


This is a sample of HgCalc using a 1 hour proportional run on an XC-6000 MercSampler system.

The .csv data was imported into the HgCalc application from the XC-6000, and then the lab data for each trap section & spike recovered from analysis is entered.

Total Stack Volume is shown under Run Data field as recorded by the XC-6000 MercSampler if 4-20 external flow was connected or Modbus interface was connected and flow data was supplied by the DAS.
