All of the Auto-Dessicators listed below are available in both
115V and 220V options. Most dessicator cabinets are available
with blue endcaps or a transparent blue housing. To view a photograph

SECADOR™ Desiccator Cabinets
The superior dehumidification performance of the Auto-Desiccator
model makes it a natural choice for more perishable and
expensive chemicals that require constant low humidity.
Totally automatic, continual desiccation with silica beads,
arid regeneration every 20 minutes, keeps the RH in the
cabinet at a constant low level. No long regeneration lag
between cycles - minimal RH change from opening the door.
Two fans guarantee continuous air flow either within the
cabinet, or continuous exhaust of humid air. (Add "V"
to part number for 220v)

Desi-Vac Container (DES-3164)

Desi-Vac Container (DES-3164)
Plastic container with a vacuum pump is ideal for drying, preserving, storing, even shipping samples. Vacuum pump built into the top removes air with manual strokes.
Rubber )-ring sealed cover maintains vacuum. Achieves a vacuum of better than 200 inches of water (15 inches of mercury).
A release button on top allows air into the container to remove the lid.
Supplied with a vacuum indicating button and a dial hygrometer that displays 0 - 100% humidity with a resolution of 2%RH.

DRIERITE® Desiccants
Apex Instruments carries both regular and indicating DRIERITE®.
Regular DRIERITE® is anhydrous calcium sulfate. Economical
to use and it can be regenerated repeatedly for use. The
indicating DRIERITE® is impregnated with cobalt chloride.
Indicating DRIERITE® is blue when dry and changes to
pink upon absorption of moisture.

Silica Gel
Specially blended for Apex Instruments to provide the optimum
mesh for source sampling. Sillca gel is primarily used for
drying sample gas prior to measurement and can absorb moisture
40% or up of its weight. The silica gel can be regenerated
by drying in an oven and used over and over again.
