Bacharach Fyrite® Gas Analyzers
| Bacharach Fyrite® Gas Analyzers are fast, accurate and
easy to use instruments for measuring and analyzing carbon
dioxide or oxygen. Analyzers are available for either CO2
or O2 analysis. Fyrite® indicators
have a broad range; they may be exposed to ambient temperatures
from -34° to 65°C (-30° to 150°F), and gases
up to 450°C (850°F) may be tested with standard aspirator
sampling equipment. Single analyzers and additional ranges
are available along with refill and repair kits. |

ECA-450 Combustion Efficiency and Environmental
Analyzer
The Bacharach ECA-450 is an easy
to use industrial grade combustion efficiency and environmental
analyzer. It determines the burner efficiency of furnaces,
boilers and other industrial combustion equipment. The ECA-450
is EPA/ETV test verified for NOX emissions
ensuring more accurate measurements. It is the ideal instrument
for plant maintenance engineers, industrial boiler/furnace
service technicians, energy coordinators, compliance officers
and environmental auditors.

| The ECA-450 is easy to operate
with a menu driven front control panel and large angled display
screen. It has both data logging and built in printer with
the capability to save over 1000 complete tests on its memory.
The unit is powered by rechargeable batteries capable of running
up to 8 hours on a complete charge. The basic model features
combustion efficiency measurement plus CO measurement. There
are a variety of sensor option kits which can easily be added
to the base model. Whether you are concerned about combustion
efficiency or compliance monitoring or both, the ECA-450 is
a simple solution for your sophisticated needs. |

PCA® - Portable Combustion Analyzer

The Bacharach PCA is the perfect tool for furnace and boiler
service technicians who need to determine carbon monoxide
(CO) safety and combustion efficiency in combustion applications.
Residential and commercial furnaces, hot water heaters and
boilers are just a few typical applications. The PCA directly
measures and displays flue gas O2,
primary and stack temperatures, draft, differential pressure,
NOX and CO. Simultaneously, the instrument
calculates and displays combustion efficiency, excess air,
CO2, NOX -
Ref. O2 and CO air free. The large
display shows eight different values simultaneously with
a backlight.
The advanced communication features of the PCA 55 and the
PCA 65 allow the user to store up to 100 tests, customize
each combustion test with customer information, generate
a personalized printout, and download all of this information
to a personal computer for record keeping and trend analysis.
With these new advanced communication features, it is
easier to meet regulatory requirements and provide added
value services to customers.

The Fyrizer is a commercial grade handheld combustion and emissions analyzer for on demand, semi-continuous sampling of light industrial, commercial, and residential furnaces, boilers, and appliances. All Fyrizer models come equipped with a probe and hose assembly, leather case, AC adapter, hard plastic carry case, instruction manual, quick start card, ambient temperature probe, and spare filters. Components for sample conditioning are standard accessories for Fyrizer Models 270, 280, and 290 kits.
The rationale for the Fyrizer is to supplement the present PCA (especially at the high end) and Model 300 instrument features to further penetrate the handheld combustion and emissions market. The Fyrizer will have the optional ability to measure NO and NO2 simultaneously and provide true NOx emissions measurements, a feature that current Bacharach handheld products do not have.
Some important features of the Fyrizer include the following:
Data Management - Memory for 890 records. Test records can be time and date coded. Records can also be identified with customer name and information. Information can be entered via a touch screen.
Display - The display is large, illuminated and has touch screen capability. The Fyrizer will also provide real time graphical display of any measured or calculated value. The Fyrizer simultaneously displays all combustion calculations and measurements on one screen, and emission measurements and calculations on a second screen.
Power – Both a 110-volt AC adapter, and internal rechargeable batteries power the Fyrizer. The internal batteries are 4 AA NiCad type batteries that will provide 3.5 hours of operation on a full charge. The user can charge the instrument and use it at the same time. The Fyrizer has a battery life indicator to constantly provide the user of battery life status.
Manual CO by-pass - The Fyrizer has a CO by-pass that is manually switched by the user to protect the CO sensor from high concentrations of CO during use. The switch is accessible at the front of the instrument.
Printing - The Fyrizer can print individual records to an external printer via infrared printer link at the top of the instrument. The Fyrizer can be set up to print to the IRDA printer (24-1229) or the HP printer (24-0886).
Water Trap and Filter - Highly efficient water seperator is easy to see, drain and clean. Built in heat exchanger and particulate filter is easy to remove, which allows for filter replacement in just seconds. Hydrophobic filter prevents water from entering the instrument, reducing sensor maintenance.
The Fyrizer will be used by HVAC contractors (commercial and light industrial), plant and building maintenance personnel, boiler technicians, emissions compliance inspectors, and safety inspectors to determine combustion efficiency and emissions compliance.
