We are impressed by your excellent service and wish that you will keep it always!"
Extend my thanks to them all! I appreciate all your and their efforts greatly! Wouldn’t shop anywhere else!"
We’ve used both the Apex XC-6000 and a similar automatic setup from Environmental Supply and chose the Apex system a few years back. They do a good job updating their software and have great 24x7 support. The Apex software is loaded on a laptop from which runs are initiated. You can then disconnect from the console, close the weather-proof cabinet and leave for several days. Separate customizable profiles are maintained with sample rates, run lengths, alarms, etc. for your specific application. The system is completely automated, capable of proportional flow, has an optional Sterling chiller (that I’d recommend for long runs) and is durable."
Great turn around by Apex to get a “build to order” part to us in 24hrs. We greatly appreciate all your efforts. Probably will be placing another order in the near future to have a line in stock.
Thank you again. It has been a pleasure doing business with you."
Again, thank you for your generosity. Best wishes for continuing success in your business."
Air Control Technologies, P.C. has used the equipment and expertise of Apex Instruments since September of 1993 when our company was formed. Working with Apex Instruments has been extremely easy because of their knowledgeable and understanding staff. Their staff is made up of individuals who have worked in the field of emissions testing and understand the needs of their clients as well as the requirements of specific EPA Methods. The equipment that I have bought from Apex Instruments over the years has been of the highest quality and easy to use. I believe that comes from having a staff that is experienced in emissions testing and understands how and what the equipment will be used for."
The quality products they supply not withstanding, the thing that is most appealing about doing business with Apex is their knowledgeable staff. They have "been there and done that" and that understanding of what it takes to quickly and efficiently perform source testing is invaluable. Source testers are notoriously idiosyncratic and Apex is able to cater to those special needs. Our firm rarely purchases anything "off the shelf" but rather has some modification that needs incorporating. A recent incident sums up the kind of service one can expect from Apex. It was a Thursday morning and I received a phone call from a client requesting testing the following Monday, performing a new method that we had not done before. The method required a special glass in-stack filter holder. Our sample probes are custom made (as I said, idiosyncratic) and do not accept the in-stock version of this device. Contacting Bill Howe three time zones away, I explained to him that as usual we were in a panic situation. He assured me he could get the necessary parts, get them to the glass blower and have the modified devices in my hands before Monday. Saturday morning the equipment was delivered to my home and it went out on the job Monday. The above situation is the type of service we have come to expect from Apex Instruments. I would strongly endorse the use of their equipment and services anyone desiring to perform source testing."
Dear Mr. Howe:
Thank you for your quick response to our recent stack testing equipment order. I was both pleased and surprised by your ability to provide a combination of custom fabricated and off the shelf components to meet an 11th-hour need. The equipment is well constructed and meets our performance expectations. I also commend the innovation that Apex Instruments is bringing to stack testing equipment. Some of the equipment ideas that I have had bouncing around in my head are showing up as new products in your catalog. It is refreshing to conduct business with a company that understands the challenges encountered in the performance of stack emission testing."
Apex has stood behind their products and has been able to respond to ur need for unique sampling equipment needed to test PM-10 grain loadings in a high temperature (up to 2000ºF) and extremely corrosive atmosphere (containing high levels of phosphoric acid and metaphosphate). This study required the manufacture of Inconel PM-10 heads meeting the specifications of Method 201A, as well as specially designed air cooled sampling probes which allowed us to employ a compression seal around the sampling probes for safety purposes. Apex was the only manufacturer in the United States that was able to manufacture equipment meeting our requirements."
I would like to report to you that the replacement probes are working better and we are hopeful they will continue to do so next winter as well.
Thank you for going the extra mile to really make sure we are 100% satisfied with the product.
Also, Jackson is by far the best person myself and the plant personal worked with for all of the trouble shooting needed.
Our new trailer was even better than we anticipated. Bo and Vance were great, and it was delivered on-time, in perfect condition and with options we hadn’t even considered. This won’t be the last trailer we purchase from them. Thanks!"
As you know, our technician went to change the traps at a remote location where we have two of your consoles running and found one of those consoles to have developed some serious problems.
Over the course of the next two days, you and others at Apex provided outstanding technical support and customer service enabling him to repair the console without having to return it thereby minimizing downtime.
I would like to send a personal “Thank You!” to all of those involved. Your support after the sale is one of the many reasons I highly recommend your product and company to others. We look forward to continuing to work with you."
