William Howe, NC’s Small Business Person of the Year for 2020

Congratulations to our president, William Howe, on being declared North Carolina’s Small Business Person of the Year!

Each year, the U.S. Small Business Association (SBA) selects one individual from each of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Guam to be the Small Business Person of the Year and to represent the nation’s strong entrepreneurial spirit and rich diversity.

The award recognizes individuals who built their own small business, are exceptionally hard-working, and are committed to creating jobs for the local economy. The award takes into account the number of years in business, financial performance, innovativeness, and quality of response to adversity.

Mr. Howe will be traveling to Washington, DC on May 3rd and 4th to receive the award and Charlotte, NC on May 6th to attend an event for Small Business Week and be recognized for his award in North Carolina.
