PTFE (tetrafluoroethylne) possesses the lowest coefficient of friction of any known solid and is used widely because of its anti-stick properties which allow for easy cleaning. PTFE has chemical resistant qualities and is unaffected. Working temperature is 500ºF (260ºC), color is milky white.
